Week 35: Karim Landoulsi and Foppe Wiersma

zaterdag 22 augustus 2026 t/m vrijdag 28 augustus 2026

  • Program until Thursday evening.
  • With Foppe Wiersma and Karim Landoulsi.

This is a slightly different date. The programme ends on Thursday evening this week. Karim Landoulsi and Foppe Wiersma will be speaking this week.

This week, Foppe, director of the Corrie ten Boom House in Haarlem, speaks. This year, he published the workbook 'The Formative Years', about the character development of Corrie ten Boom before and during the Second World War.

Corrie ten Boom is known worldwide for her message of hope and forgiveness. During the Second World War, she helped Jewish people. She paid a high price for this. Corrie and her sister ended up in a concentration camp. Her sister died there. Corrie survived the war. After that dark period, she travelled the world to talk about her experiences. 'No matter how deep the pit, God's love always reaches deeper'.

This week, Foppe Wiersma (Director of the Corrie ten Boom House) will speak about this remarkable woman. What shaped her? What did she do before the war? And what does her story tell us today? It promises to be an inspiring week full of faith, hope and love.

Karim Landoulsi will be speaking to young people this week.

With great humour and conviction, he knows better than anyone how to challenge you to embark on an adventure with Jesus.

Karim is married to Angela. Together they have three children. Karim is pastor of a church in Den Bosch and spiritual director of De Betteld.
