Week 33: Eddie Bakker and Cor van den Belt

This week, Eddie Bakker will speak to the adults and Cor van den Belt will speak to the youth.
Eddie Bakker came to the Netherlands from South Africa as a missionary in 1988. Through Genesis 31:3, God spoke to his heart, saying, “Go back to the land of your forefathers. I will be with you.” He then began going out onto the streets of the Netherlands with a group of friends to proclaim the message of the cross from city to city.
Later, God led him to a farm in Nordhorn (Germany) close to the Dutch border. This farm was used as a missionary school for 12 years. In 1997, he and his wife started the 'Christengemeente Nordhorn' (Nordhorn Christian Community), in which Eddie Bakker leads the elders.
Cor is married to Leonie and is the father of three children (Nathan, Leah, and Roan).
He works full-time at the Vrije Evangelisatie Zwolle (VEZ), where he coordinates youth work.
Cor also speaks at church services, weddings, and youth services.
Cor enjoys bringing God's word closer to people by speaking vulnerably and to the point.
